The word Amphora means "carried on both sides". The amphora is a vessel, strong and with the softest of lines, and what are women, if not strong vessels, with the softest of lines?

This hammered brass charm is handmade at Thread and Stone, fitted on a super fine (and super strong) stainless steel chain and closed with a gold plated brass lobster clasp.

Beautiful paired with our Golden Arch earrings, and yes, you can wear it in water!

Brass is sought after for its similarity to gold in appearance and being far superior to silver in strength. It also has natural anti-bacterial properties, and like copper promotes a healthy immune system and cellular regeneration.

As with Sterling Silver and copper, brass can be easily polished to remove any oxidisation and restore its original lustre.
